A personal research tool that watches for statements from the US president referencing specific companies, sectors, or investing keywords — then tracks how the mentioned stock actually moves over the following four trading days.
What this is / isn't
What this is
A way to catch market-relevant statements faster than checking the news manually, with real before-and-after price data attached to every mention.
What this isn't
A trading signal, a prediction engine, or financial advice. It reports what already happened — it doesn't forecast what happens next.
Sources monitored
- Truth Social His own posts, via an unofficial third-party RSS mirror. Direct evidence — but the mirror can go down or change format without notice.
- White House Official whitehouse.gov press release feed. Direct evidence, reliable source.
- News wires Coverage pulled via NewsAPI. Indirect — someone reporting on him, not him speaking directly. Weighted lower.
How it works
- Scans all three sources once a day for anything matching a defined watchlist of companies and keywords.
- Every match is tagged direct or indirect — that distinction matters more than the headline itself.
- New mentions get their current price logged via Yahoo Finance data.
- The stock is tracked for 4 trading days, recomputing % change on every run.
- Results are emailed as a daily digest and published to this site.
Read before trusting this
Reactive, not predictive. By the time a mention is caught here, it's
already public — other market participants are seeing the same information
at the same time. Keyword matching is simple substring search, not true
language understanding, and will occasionally misfire on coincidental word
matches. A confirmed multi-day trend has usually already been priced into
the stock by the time it's "confirmed." Nothing on this site should be
treated as investment advice.
